Kirby was a gift to all who he met. Our son Jeff got to know Kirby at Lincoln High School when they played basket ball together. Kirby became a very good friend to Jeff and they remained friends throughout the years. We also enjoyed knowing Kirby. He was always so gracious, polite and respectful, yet so entertaining and upbeat. We enjoyed how his jokes made us laugh. We appreciate the friendship he shared with our son. He had a big heart and touched us all. The outpouring of the many testimonials attests to that fact.
Kirby enjoyed life and made it enjoyable for others. He may have lived life more fully in the short span of 28 years than most people do into old age. More important is how he made others happy. That is truly a gift of which you can be proud!
We pray that the passing of time eases your pain. We pray that knowing how much others loved him will give you consolation. It was a privilege to know your young man. Thank you for sharing him with the rest of us.
With deepest sympathy,

He added to that day with his talents and creativity touching everyone who was there. His passing is so very sad and we send our deepest sympathy.

I met Kirby over the summer when I started working downtown he was such an amazing man and even when I had crappy days he could instantly give me a hug and put a smile on my face. He is going to be missed beyond belief. My prayers go out to his family and many friends. The sun will shine a little bit brighter now that he is up in heaven. I love and miss you Kirby.

Our deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you. We were so sorry to learn of Kirby's passing. We have known Kirby since Kindergarten at Wallace Elementary. He was a good friend to our son, Trevor. We have had Kirby with us on many special days, fun days at school, birthdays and seeing him out shopping. Kirby was always happy and funny. May you find comfort in all the people that Kirby's life has touched in good and fun ways. Thinking of you all at this hard time.

My prayers are with you during your time of need. I first met Kirby in middle school and instantly became friends with him. He was a well respected young man and still am in shock on such a sad loss, not just to his family but to all who knew him. May your hearts seek comfort as Kirby is now an angel.
