Daniel Harold Brown, 67, died Friday, February 10, 2012 at Regency Care Center in Norwalk.
Daniel was born August 8, 1944 to Gordon and Evelyn Brown in Des Moines. He graduated from Des Moines Tech in 1963 and retired from Freightliner Inc. after 15 years of service. Daniel enjoyed working on cars.
Daniel is survived by his brother, Richard (Judy) Brown of Topeka, KS (formerly of Des Moines); and a host of other family and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Diane Ferguson; and step-father, Arthur Carlson.
A graveside service of cremains will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue.

Sorry for your lost Dan was a great man. I got to know Dan through the bar at Stranded By The Tracks i was his bartender. He made me laugh all the time. The funniest time has to be Halloween when he dressed up like a woman.
