Jennie Ruth Patton

Jennie Ruth Patton, 89, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at University Park Nursing and Rehab. She was born June 13, 1922, in Como, Mississippi to Leland Draper and Willie Lee Thomas. Jennie enjoyed spending time with her family. A private memorial service will be held for her family.

Jennie is survived by her children, Mack Patton, Eva Grayson, Robert Patton, Henry Patton, James (Wilmon) Patton, Tommy Patton, Ruthie (Richard) Duncan, Beulah Patton, Dorothy (Kenny) Hayes, Glen Luster, Betty Luster, Jerry Patton and Terry Patton; her sisters, Bobbie Freeman, Alice Thomas and Donnie Massey; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other extended family members and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John; son, Johnny; sisters, Lela M. Pegus and Juanita Ward.
