I worked with Cheryl at Mercy Hospital in the past and I am so saddened to hear this news. Cheryl was always willing to help her coworkers. She was always kind, considerate, and friendly and will be missed. Our memories are what we have now to keep close and no matter how sad it is for us remember that Cheryl is happy with Jesus now. How amazing!

We worked with Cheryl for a lot of years. We always enjoyed working
with her, she was always willing to answer your questions and if she
didn't know the answer she would find it and get it to you. She will be
missed. She was always very pleasant to be around.
We are very very sorry for your loss, and Mercy Labs loss.

Cheryl had several lifetime professions, one being a very didicated
Clinial Laboratory Scientist, specializing in the Chemistry section of the Laboratory at Mercy....serving the sick. Her second "profession" was serving those in need, in the church, nursing home, community, in her job, etc. ....just talking, feeding, socializing, teaching or taking over the affairs of those who had no one else to help them. The third "profession" was photography....preserving events of many people, places and things of beauty. Cheryls' life was one of kindness and service..... only God knows how very many peoples lives she touched in her special ways!
Co-worker at Mercy for many good years

I knew Cheryl through the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science-Iowa. We spent time together last year at our annual meeting. She was so wonderful. She took pictures at our Recognition Banquet and Social Event. Throughout the meeting, there were alot of people who stopped to talk with her. She has touched alot of lives.
Deepest Sympathies.

Deepest sympathies in the death of Cheryl, she was a special person and well loved at Highland Park Christian Church and will be greatly missed. Cheryl did so many things I don't know if people even knew and did it without accolades. Cheryl always had a kind word and was willing to step in and help out. I will miss seeing her and working along side of her on Sundays and for events.

I have known Cheryl since her family came to Grant Park Christian Church where her father served as the minister. Then I was able to renew my friendship with Cheryl when we came to Highland Park Christian Church where Rev. Barclay was sering as visitation minister. Cheryl had a special gift with her ability to help people, and she will be missed by many.
