Michael Forsberg

Michael R. Forsberg, 60, passed away Monday, May 14, 2007 at Union Park Health Services in Des Moines. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 18, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Visitation with the family present will be Wednesday from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mike was a retired salesman for O’Callaghan’s, and was an avid Hawkeye and Green Bay Packer fan. His two favorite passions were being with his family and reading.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Steven) Seybert of West Des Moines, two granddaughters Emma and Luci, and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Chester Forsberg; two brothers, Richard and Ronald.
Mike was a genuine person with a kind heart, and he will be missed by all. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and residents of the Union Park Health Services and Hospice of Central Iowa.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family or the Animal Rescue League, or to the charity of choice.
