Madame Arman,
You were one of the greatest teachers I had. You cared so much for all of your students, and you really had a passion for helping us learn French. I enjoyed coming to your class everyday. Because of you I also have a love of French culture now, and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity you gave me to go see France. That is still the greatest trip of my life, and I'm sure it always will be. You were a great, caring person, and my heart and thoughts go out to your family. I know you were a close knit family, and I wish the best for them all.

Oh Michele,
I wish I could just have one last day with you to say good-bye and how much you meant to me. You were the only one at North who really cared about me during my first year at North. I admired your positive nature and ability to always make individuals feel special without ever being judgemental. Despite being busy with a family of 6 children, you were never too busy to take time out to help students who really needed it or spend the last few minutes of your school day laughing and chatting with your colleagues.
Though I never got to meet most of your family, you were so proud of each and every one of them evident through the stories you shared. I know you will be watching over them as they journey through life.
Just becoming a mother four months ago, I already miss the welcomed advice you would have no doubt given me in raising my own children. You loved being a mum to six kids and never had the slightest complaint about the difficulty that must come from having so many bodies in one house. I pray you watch over us too.
My sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathy go out to your family. We will miss you always, Michele.
Love,
Jessica Fry-Morales (co-worker from North High School)

While I draw this fleeting breath,
When mine eyes shall close in death,
When I soar to worlds unknown,
See thee on thy judgment throne,
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in thee.

Ms. Arman had a 'classroom' at the end of the Student Center on the second floor at North High School for most (if not all) of her time there. What a challenge to teach with a couple of screens and noise from every passerby! But Ms. Arman handled these challenges with grace, creating an inviting space where her students were welcomed and encouraged. I know she was very sad to leave North, and she was missed. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Madame Arman,
I have been so fortunate to have had you, not only as a teacher, but as a mentor, and an excellent friend. The two years that I was enrolled in your class, were of the best years of my High school days. It was not only the learning of the french language that intrigued me so, it was the way you taught it that set you and your class apart from others. Your kindness and patience was what kept me alive in your class. It was through your class that I have internalized everything that I have learned in the two years that your were my Mentor. From how to Apply and go through a successful interview to even life advice in dealing with significant others, you were there when others were not. It is these life lessons that have shaped me into what I am today. Its human beings such as yourself that make this world worth living for. It is your character, your charisma, your humbleness, your view on the world, and openness to all cultures that make this world beautiful. It gives us hopes that the world is not full of hatred and disorder, but that it is filled with people such as yourself. Your truly impacted my life and I would not change it in a thousand years. With this I do not say goodbye, rather, I say, I look forward to the day we meet each other again.
vous voyez plus tard, Mme. Arman
sincèrement

Madam Arman,
You were more than a teacher to me, you were a close friend. I spent countless hours hanging out in your room even when I didn't have to be at school. I was just going through the motions in high school and would have done the same in college (probably would have dropped out) if not for your advice and inspiration for me to go out and see as much of the world as I can. I will never forget you and you will always be the teacher I was closest too. My thoughts go towards your family whom I know you loved dearly.

I'm sorry she was taken in the way she was. If it werent for her encouragement I dont know if I would have finished my senior year, she was an excellent mentor and friend. He class and the student helper blocks were probably the best thing i did in high school. She always knew what to say to keep me going. She is deeply missed and will be remembered requiescat in pace

She impacted all of her students with those same wonderful attributes. her legacy continues with her family and all those students who will forever remember her for what a great teacher, mentor, friend, Mom, sister , wife daughter that she was.
