Noah Alexander McGinnis was welcomed into the arms of his parents, Alex and Mariah McGinnis of Des Moines, on February 2, 2012, at 1:45 a.m, and an hour later, God welcomed him into His arms.
Noah is deeply loved by his mommy and daddy, big brother Eli, his grandparents, his great-grandparents, his aunts and uncles, his cousins and many others. Noah will always remain his parents’ precious son and Eli’s little brother, and they will meet him again in heaven one day.
His paternal grandparents are Larry and Brenda McGinnis of Earlham, Iowa; and maternal grandparents are Steve and Kelly Rice of Kansas City, Missouri and Craig and Kathy Jenkins of Waukee, Iowa.
Private family graveside services will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 11:00 AM, at Glendale Cemetery, 4909 University Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa, with a luncheon following at the Cathedral, 901 19th Street, Des Moines, Iowa.

Alex, Mariah, and Eli,
We're so sorry to hear of the loss of your son. Having never had the privilege of being parents we can't begin to know how you're feeling or what you're going through, but as Noah's beautifully written obituary says, you all will see him again someday. Please take comfort in knowing that he's in the arms of Jesus and God will send his Holy Spirit to comfort you during this difficult time.
Even though we can't be with you in person, our hearts and our prayers are.
