Lawrence Wilson

Lawrence G. Wilson, 89, passed away on Thursday, November 9 at Fleur Heights Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2pm to 4pm Sunday.
Larry was born January 26, 1917 in Kansas City, MO. He served in the Seabees during World War II. During his life Larry worked as a pipe fitter at Local 33. He had lived in Goldfield and lived in Des Moines for 53 years. He was a member of Central Assembly of God Church as well as Local 33 Plumbers and Fitters union. Larry loved his home and was always working on it or fixing things. He loved spending time with his family,
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Isabelle, his sons, Larry, Jerry and David; his daughter, Judy Zasada; five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; his sister, Josephine Howell. He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
