Musetta Keathie

Musetta E. Keachie, 96, passed away Sunday, May 13 at the Good Samaritan Center in Indianola. Funeral services will be held 10 am Wednesday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial to follow in Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation will take place from 6 to 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Musetta was born October 1, 1910 in Des Moines to Flossie and George Jones. She was a homemaker. Musetta belonged to Clifton Heights Presbyterian Church, the Shrine Hospital Guild. She was a volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed fishing.
Musetta is survived by her son, Bruce (Shirley) Keachie of St. Charles, MO., her sister, Phyllis Eckrosh of Des Moines, 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and special friends, Donya Hayes and family, Sherry and Rick Butler and family and Bobette Miller and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan, her daughter, Beverly Kummerfeldt and son-in-law Dick, her grandson, Bob Kummerfeldt, 1 sister and 3 brothers.
Musetta’s family would like to thank the staff of the Good Samaritan Center for the care they provided to Musetta during her time there.
