To the Cox and extended Family,
I found out from a mutual classmate that Dave had passed on Saturday. Needless to say it was a heavy blow to my heart. Dave and I were great friends in grade and junior high school. I had the privilege of getting to know Mr. and Mrs Cox and also Dave's Brother Dan. I got to go to church with them on several occasions. I have always felt very blessed for those gifts.
As is so often the case with age, Dave and I went our separate ways and lost contact. But I never forgot about Dave, his Family or Grace Baptist Church. A couple of years ago we got together
at a small class reunion. Had a great visit and reminisced about the old days. I'm so thankful that I got to tell him that I'd always loved him as a Brother.
My heart and prayers are with you all through this terrible time of loss. I can only say that we will get another opportunity, some day to tell Dave that we love him.
With deepest respect,
Rich Rollins (Class of 1969)
