Margaret A. Fleming

Margaret Ann Fleming, 81, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012, at Fountain West Health Care in West Des Moines. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 pm Monday, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

Margaret was born June 16, 1930, in Des Moines, to Carl and Noel Swanson. She was a homemaker. Margaret loved being with her family.

Margaret is survived by her children, Katherine Yarges of Newport, Kentucky, Lou Fleming of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, Michael Fleming of Yelm, Washington and Thomas Fleming of Des Moines; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Lou.
