Eunice Arnetta Williams

Eunice Arnetta Williams, 88, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Mill-Pond Nursing Home in Ankeny, Iowa. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Burial will be held at a later date at Baue Cemetery in St. Charles, Missouri.

Arnetta was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Miloh Gillberg of Kansas; two brothers, Dwight and Edwin; sisters, Ileta and Fern; and her husband, Jay A. Williams. She is survived by her sons, Jay R. (Shann) of Mitchellville, IA; Laurin (Carol) of Ankeny, IA; and Kenneth (Steph) of Derby, KS; one sister, Fay (Arnold) Grant of Salina, KS; two sisters-in-law, Joan Gillberg of Lindsborg, KS, and Betty (Bob) Steele of Hutchinson, KS; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; as well as other beloved relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Diabetes Foundation, Ankeny First United Methodist Church, Mill-Pond Chapel, or Iowa Health Hospice in loving memory of Arnetta.
