Marvin L. Benck, 75, passed away January 14, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Marvin is survived by his sons, Kevin (Michele) Benck and Ron Benck; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a sister; and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Lydia (Hansen) Benck; two brothers; and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be made to Altoona Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
