Colleen May Broughton

Colleen May Broughton passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 25, 1929 to Florence and Fred Berry.

Colleen loved gardening, canning and crocheting. She absolutely LOVED Christmas!! Most of all she loved spending time with her family –especially her grandkids!

Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 16 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. A graveside service will follow visitation at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Colleen is survived by her husband of 59 years, Eldon; her daughters, Cindy Wadkins (Lon) and Pam Prohaska (John); seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Eva Cooper; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in remembrance of Colleen.
