Florence Horn

Florence I. Horn, 93, of Des Moines, died of congestive heart failure on May 8, 2007 at the Regency Care Center in Norwalk. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday at Glendale Cemetery.
Florence was born on July 2, 1913 in the County of Durham, England. She enjoyed sewing, was a member of the First Baptist Church, was a graduate of the Iowa State Teacher’s College and had worked for the FBI for 35 years.
She is survived by her nieces, Evelyn Aldrich of Urbandale, Lennae (Ken) Kelso of Norwalk, two great nieces of Tanya Aldrich of West Des Moines and Trista Jacobs of Des Moines and a great, great niece Tayler Cunconan of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Elizabeth Horn, her brother Leonard Horn and her sister Esther Woodruff . Donations may be made to Iowa Hospice.
