Robert Beerbower

Robert Beerbower, 66, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Taylor House Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Robert was born January 15, 1945, in Des Moines. He worked as a dry waller for Maybreyer Construction. Robert was and avid Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoyed fishing, old cars, camping and watching Westerns. He loved to sing and listen to Elvis, but his greatest passion in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his children, Kim Brockman, Laurie Reha, Mike Beerbower, Eddie Beerbower, Scott Beerbower and Jenny Beerbower; 17 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Betty Alonzo; brothers, Albert, Henry and Bobby; and numerous other family members and friends. e was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Beerbower, and uncle, Edgar Branchcomb.
