Vivian Frances Bankson, 81, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Vivian was born February 15, 1930, in Independence, Iowa, to Milton and Anna Mae Hall. She retired in 1976 from the Federal Reserve Bank of Des Moines.
Vivian is survived by her children, grandchildren and a host of other extended family members and friends.
The family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. The funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home, followed by burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Mt. Auburn, Iowa.

My sympathy is extended to you on your recent lost. I want to share with you what the Bible hope for those we lost in death.God's word the Bible tell us we can see our loved ones again free of sickness and pain.(Revelation 21:4)" And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. The Bible also assures us this will take place when Jesus said to her; (John 11:25) I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life;" We can be confident that our Grand Creator will make this a reality very soon. May these scriptures bring you some comfort.

Fran will be greatly missed by not only myself but my family as well. When Kris and I had Sabree we went straight from the hospital over to see Fran and Lois, both of them was really excited to meet the new addition. We left Sabree with Fran while we ran home for a minute, when we returned there was Fran rocking Sabree in the swing. Everytime we went to visit she always would play around with Sabree. She will forever be in my heart.
