Frances M. Domino, 92, died Friday, December 30, 2011, in hospice care at Ramsey Village. She retired from being a longtime dairy farmer in the Norwalk area.
Frances is survived by daughters, Dottie (Ken) LaBounty of AZ, Darlene (Jack) Hiatt of Des Moines, Theresa Domino of Des Moines; sons, John Domino and Paul Whitaker of Des Moines; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike, and son, Dennis.
A funeral mass will be held at 12 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at Christ the King Catholic Church, with burial following at Carlisle Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Tuesday, with a rosary to begin at 11:45 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Hospice of Johnston and Animal Lifeline of Iowa.
Frances’ family extends a special thank you to the staff of Ramsey Village and Iowa Hospice for all of the love, kindness and care given to Frances.

Theresa - I was so sorry to see the loss of your mother. It is never easy to lose somebody we love. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Jack, Darlene and Theresa. Read the obits Sunday and came across a familiar name of the past. So sorry to hear about your Mom, Theresa and Darlene. No matter the age, it's always hard to let them go. Will keep all of you in my prayers.
