Regina Brown

Regina Ann Brown, 46, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011, at home, from heart failure. Regina was born on October 31, 1965, in Des Moines, to Francis Jean Brown. Regina was the youngest of five children.

She was cherished and loved by her family and leaves behind three daughters, Francesca Brown, Angelina Venenga, and Jenniffer Cruz; three grandchildren Makeyla, Lillyana, and Christian; and a Fiance of two years, Brian Hanson. She is also survived by her two sisters, Sheron Shaw of Des Moines and Robin Forgie of Moline; and her two brothers Dana Brown of Colorado and David Brown Des Moines.

Regina lived in Des Moines where she worked as a CNA for 23 years, and the last eight years after returning to school as a CMA. Her memories will be cherished by all of those who met her and ever had the chance to get to know her. Regina's passion was raising Macaws; 1-Blue and Gold (Scooter) and 2-Harli-Gold's (Farley and Mango).

Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m., Thursday, January 5, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home,104 3rd Street SW in Altoona. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family.
