My heart goes out to Marjean's family. Marjean was my surgical teacher during medical school. She taught with an excellence and passion that is rare to find. My surgical skills were second to none, even though I did not choose surgery as specialty. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be her student. My deepest condolences for the loss of a very special woman.
