Arline Jones

Arline E. Jones, 75, died Monday, May 7, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Ashworth Road Baptist Church with burial in Jordan Cemetery.
Arline was born July 2, 1931 to Minnie and Floyd Eaton in Vinton, Iowa. She grew up in Garrison and married Robert Jones. Together, they were co-owners of the Good Life Retirement Center in Norwalk. She loved gardening, collecting angels, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild.
Arline is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Reagan) Hall of Norwalk; her son Kevin (Lori) Jones of Ankeny; her son Mark (Cathy) Jones of Omaha, NE; six grandchildren, Erin Hall (Jimmie Rhodes) & Elizabeth Hall, Jason & Shelby Jones, Jessica & Ashley Jones; her great grandchild Emma Rhodes; her brothers James of Alta, Iowa, Marion of North Carolina, and Clarence Eaton of Creston, Iowa; and her sisters, Zella Tharp of Holy Cross, Iowa, and Maria Eaton of West Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2005, her parents, her sister Ruth Lindsey, and her brother Richard Eaton.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Arline.
