Sharon Lydic

Sharon Kay Lydic, 64, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011, at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 3300 Easton Blvd, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., with the Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, at the church.

Sharon was born August 10, 1947, to Anthony and Betty Jean Golszanski in Des Moines. She had worked for Wells Fargo and American Republic Insurance. Sharon was a devout Christian and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Lydic; sons, Michael (Dawn) Lydic and Robbie (Sara) Lydic; grandchildren, Taylor and Tallen Lydic; father, Tony Golszanski; sister, Toni Lee (David) Olney; aunt, Susie Krejci; her dogs, Sierra and Lucky; cat, Chase; and many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Brett Allen Lydic and mother, Betty Golszanski.
