Marilyn German

Marilyn Jean “Mert” German, 69, of Altoona died Saturday, May 5, 2007 at home. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW.
Marilyn was born May 4, 1938 in Centerville. She loved to garden, go for walks, sports, especially basketball, and being with her grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Rod of Des Moines, Carla (Steve) Biltoft of Tekamah, NE, Rocky of Des Moines, Randy of Long Beach, CA, and Rusty (Elaine) of Altoona; 7 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her twin daughters, Marla and Darla, her parents, and two brothers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Marilyn.
