Service Details
Chris A. Petersen, 81, died Monday, December 19, 2011. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Norwalk United Methodist Church with burial following at the Norwalk Cemetery. A visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 21 at the church.
Chris was born August 3, 1930 in Wiota, IA. He retired from the Air Force after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Norwalk United Methodist Church, Silver Squadron and the Cumming American Legion.
Chris is survived by his wife, Jo Petersen; sons, Lyle (Cindy) Petersen, and Paul (Tiffany) Petersen. He was preceded in death by his parents Chris and Claytie Petersen and brothers, George (Miriam) Petersen and Harold (Clara) Petersen.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Norwalk United Methodist Church.

Jo and family, Chris was the greatest Chief of all. When he had something to say we all new it was important. GODS SPEED CHRIS!

Jo and family. I have just learned of Chris death. I am in KC,MO and will not be able to attend his funeral. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. He was a good friend of my husband as well as others, He will surely be missed, but he is now resting in God's arms, Bobbie
