Olivia King

Olivia Melissa King, 80, died May 5, 2007 at Fountain West. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007at Corinthian Baptist Church with burial at Glendale Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Olivia was born On April 5, 1927 in Dalton, MO. She lived in Des Moines since 1944. Olivia retired in 1993 from the Mail Services Department at Principal Financial after 12 ½ years of service. She was a member of Corinthian Baptist Church.
Olivia is survived by her brother, Oliver (Jeannetta) Hughes of Kansas City, MO; step-children, William Woolery, Tommy Woolery, Judy King-Clement, Gloria King-Jackson and Leon King, Jr.; other survivors include, Edith Webb, Valerie Weaver, Vicki Whiteside and Robert Webb III. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Leon King.
