Christine Kentopp

Christine Kentopp, 59, passed away unexpectedly December 8, 2011 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Christine was active in the theater in the Des Moines area, a Girl Scout leader and an avid equine lover.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; children, Scott Kentopp, Elise (Jeremy) Timm, Amy (David) Bruce, Patrick Kentopp; grandchildren, Trevor, Zoie and Tristan Timm, Ariel, Lucas and Khloe Kentop; parents, Arthur and Norma Heft; sisters, Kathy Marvin, Barb Simmons, Diane McCormick; and many other loving family members and friends. Christine was preceded in death by her son, Christopher.
Christine will be placed to rest in Steele Cemetery in Falls City, NE following a memorial service there.

I am so sorry for your loss. I've never met Christine, but my daughter Callen knows her from Cheval and loves her. She helped the vet with Java this summer and she great respect for Christine. Our hearts go out to you.

It's hard to express the sadness I feel over Christine's passing. Such a sweet, wonderful, selfless woman, whose worries were always for others. I'll miss her terribly. I'm so sorry and your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I am very sorry to hear of this news. My thoughts and prayers are with family at this time. She was a great person and I will always remember as my time on stage with her. She was my wife for Company and I have some great memories of her and I in that show. I will miss her.
