Harriett Baker

Harriett J. Baker, 88, died Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Trinity Center at Luther Park. A visitation will be held 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Burial will take place in Masonic Cemetery, at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2007.
Harriett was born August 20, 1918 to Eleanor and Arthur Watkins in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a retired waitress at Michael’s and Babe’s restaurants.
She is survived by her son, Steven Baker of Des Moines, IA; a sister, Doris Fry of Illinois; a brother, Arthur Watkins of California, and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Marion Baker, a son, Richard Baker; and a daughter Patricia Baker.
