ahhh i hate that you are gone. who will i call at 3 am when i need to talk to someone? who will i argue with over stupid crap and still laugh with in the same conversation?!!!! I let other peoples feelings toward you keep me from being true to you and i regret that so badly now. i will miss you my post master friend!!! (you get it) inside joke. i will see you again and i know this. no matter how far away you were i was always on your mind and you mine. we kept in touch for more than 9 years and still tampered with a relationship. now its too late. We were so sorry to hear of the loss of your son Please know that we are thinking of you and your family. I hope you will remember us from the PWP activites years ago. We are unable to attend the Memorial Celebration on Saturday, but it sounds like a wonderful way for everyone to honor him and remember the good times.

Corey Forrester's Celebration of Life Ceremony...
Corey's family wish to invite all of Corey's friends and loved ones to join us in celebrating Corey's life and birthday on Saturday. We have a wonderful event planned with special surprises, silly games and activities, momentos to share, food and fun. This is the kind o...f party Corey would really enjoy, especially that it can bring all of us together! Chili and Birthday Cake will be served, among other goodies. Some have already asked if they can bring snacks, beverages or a covered dish... you are more than welcome to do so :) Corey loved food and we will feast in his honor. We have a full kitchen on site and can help you chill or warm and serve whatever you'd like to bring (but it isn't required). Otherwise everything else is provided and their should be more than plenty to go around. Also please feel free to bring any games, photo's, momentos or anything else you'd like to bring to share along with your personal stories and memories. We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday :) Please join us in remembering Corey!!!

I first met Corey in 1994 when I was his court-appointed criminal defense investigator. He was only 17 then, and the first time I interviewed him, I knew there was a good Corey inside despite some of the things he was into. I corresponded with him when he was away and tried to help him keep his attitude positive. When he came home, he worked for my son's construction company some and did a good job at it. I still have a message on my phone from him in October when he called to let me know he was doing okay. That's the last time I ever heard from him. He tried hard, but had a lot of chips stacked against him. Corey, RIP man! I will miss you. My sympathy to Jim and Jennifer.

You left this earth much too soon for someone who enjoyed life as much as you did. I know you would be pleased if you only knew how much everyone has scrambled to remember you and celebrate your life. You touched many hearts and are deeply missed and loved by all. I hope you find the peace where you are now, that you struggled to find here. You were taken from us, but you are not forgotten. <3 Fern
