Flossie Gillaspy

Flossie Gillaspy passed away on Friday, November 25, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Home in Indianola, Iowa. Flossie was born on September 6, 1918, in Runnells, Iowa, to Thomas and Margaret McCall.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting.

Flossie is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Gillaspy and Eloise Van Roekel; sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Francis; her daughter, Frances Clarkson; her parents and all her siblings.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street in Des Moines, with a visitation beginning at 1 p.m.
