Sharon Kay Smith Leonard passed on November 23, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born February 7, 1941 in Des Moines. She graduated from East High School and attended Faith Tabernacle Church of God in Christ.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Leonard; parents, William Ronk and Betty Garles; and sister Judy Ronk. She is survived by her children, Michael Paul Smith and family, Sherri Dianne Robinson and family and Mark Douglas Smith and family; sister, Vickie Koehly; brothers, William Leroy Ronk, III and John Raymond Ronk; and many other extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave.

Dear Leonard family,
I'd like to express my sorrow over your loss and share what helped me get through the loss of my whole family. I found this comfort and hope in what Gods word the Bible says at John11:11 and Mark5:39 that they'er just asleep and Jesus states at John5:28,29 that I'll see them again. This truly helps me get through each day because I miss them so much.
