Dianna Gail Reinholdt, 62, of Des Moines died Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. She was born April, 26, 1949 in Indianola, Iowa the daughter of Charles and Leota (Hewitt) Reinholdt.
Dianna is survived by her sons, Lonnie Shipley of Des Moines, Jeffrey Shipley and his wife Lynette Larson of Truro, her daughter, Alicia Simpson of Des Moines and ten grandchildren; Brittney Shipley, Brooke Shipley, Austin Shipley, Brandon Shipley, Haley Shipley, Ryan Shipley, Owen Shipley, Chelsea Simpson, Dustin Simpson and Brianna Smith, sister, Victoria Davenport of Des Moines, brother Charles Maurice Reinholdt of Des Moines and her faithful cat companion, Simon. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Dianna loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with her sister and going out with her work friends in the Red Hat Club.
Per Dianna’s wishes she has been cremated. Burial at Linn Grove Cemetery in Norwalk will be held at a later date.
A Memorial has been established and contributions may be made at the funeral home.

Ill never forget how nice Dianna was to me no matter the situation. She had to take me to the hospital once after an accident down stairs she was as calm as ever and so that made me calm. She treated me as her own ALWAYS! Ill never forget every time id come over she would say Jeff Darins here it must be pay day lol. inside joke right Jeff.
