Bill G. Clemons, 78, of Des Moines passed away Monday morning November 21, 2011, at home. Bill was born January 2, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee and moved to Iowa in 1938.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Gerty, infant son, Patrick, his parents and seven siblings. Bill always protected and provided for his own.
Survivors include children; Debbie Felice (Bob), Bob Clemons (Kathy), Bill Clemons (Louise), Liz Clemons (Bob Magnani), Doug Clemons (Allison).
Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren; Jim, Tracie, Jeremy, Jason, Stephanie, Sara, Jacob, Andrew, Alexa, Anthony, Jonathan, Shelly, Angie, Kari, Jamie, Brandon, Alex, Nick, Paige, Robby, Mackenzie, Austin, Hayden, Benji, Corrin, Casey, Emily, Brittney, Jesi, Rilee, Emma, Miranda.
Bill was Cremated, at his request no services will be held. A visitation will be on Friday November 25, at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street from 5 PM to 8PM
