Dave first came into my life when I was twelve years old. Ann had brought him home to meet her family. I liked him right away, and so did all of us. I never met a man so instantly well liked by everyone who met him.
I was just 14 when my dad died. Dave quickly become more than just my brother in law. He was a mentor, my sports coach, an advisor, and much more. He was quick to praise my achievements, and willing to correct me when I was wrong.
He was the best friend I ever had.
Ann and Dave raised five of the greatest kids anyone could ask for. I knew them all from the day they were born, and loved the years we we spent together. Even though we've seen less of each other as years passed, I still feel a special bond with my sister Ann, and her very special family.
God bless you all.

Talk about a guy that could win anybodys heart. That was our David.
He and Rick are probably having a drink and a cigarette arguing about who the best baseball team is. He treasured his family and their pets. He was loved by all and will truly be remembered. He dearly loved his Ann as many of us and supported her in every way. He will be missed my many especially me.
Love and Prayers,
Wyn Ann

We were saddened to hear of David's passing away. David and Ann were so much a part of our lives when we first met. Jon didn't have a car and stayed with David and Ann when he came to see Nancy in Rochester. We even borrowed his car to go on our honeymoon (He told Jon he had missed the last car payment when we returned the car after we got home from Yellowstone).
He was our hero who came to get Jon when his car broke down. They used to get up at dawn to be the first ones on the golf course. We had an annual golf outing where Carroll brought the steaks and Jon had to bring a bottle of Silver Satin.
David was always there when you needed him, a good companion and friend. We will miss him dearly. There are too many memories to share here, but we treasure them and thank you for all that you have meant to us over the years.
Love,
Nancy & Jon

It is hard to say goodbye to David - he was always great to be around, good sense of humor, loved by everyone who met him. I am so glad to have a copy of him singing "My Way." He had a beautiful voice and we loved to hear him sing - nothing but happy times in our memory bank with David - his trips to California where my kids and grandkids got to know and love him, the good times at the Golf Course, Karaoke parties and just being around him and his family.
David loved Ann, my sister, and their family so much - loved being a Grandpa and loved to tease - We love you all and share your loss.
