Dennis Ray Murray, 64, was born June 1, 1947 in Des Moines, the son of Jack and Melba (Appenzeller) Murray. He passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Taylor House in Des Moines.
Denny is survived by his daughter, Melissa Rouw; son, Michael (Lora) Murray; five grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; other loving relatives and many special friends.
The family will greet friends for a memorial visitation from 1 to 3 p.m.., Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Denny.

Our condolences go out to all of Denny's family. I will always remember Deeny's little laugh he had. May you all keep his memory alive in your hearts. I bet he is a very happy soul now...we will all meet him one day again. Know we love ya and are here for you if you need anything at all. I will always remember that yellow chevelle he had...it was the coolest!!!

I'm saddened to read this obituary.
Too young to be taken away from your family so soon. Cancer is a nasty disease!
I'm thankful that your battle is over and the Lord swept you away quietly to take you home. It'll be a glorious day when we are all united in the heavens above!! You may be gone but your memories will always be in our hearts.
