Service Details
Jane Breen, 79, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at her home in Bondurant. She was born September 13, 1932, in Carroll, Iowa to Orville and Francis (Rometsch) Radebaugh.
Jane is survived by her daughters, Kim (Steve) Stewart and Mindy (Alan) Patterson; granddogs Shasta, Thor, and Stanley, AKA Happy Brown Butt; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Gretchen Jo Mahedy; husband Rodger; daughter Pam Breen; son Rodger Breen Jr.; and aunt Emily Rometsch.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday November 14, 2011 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, Altoona, with burial to follow at Altoona Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Iowa Food Bank or to the American Heart Association in loving memory of Jane.

Kim & Mindy - our family's thoughts and prayers are with you at the hearing of your Mom's passing. Your Mom and your Dad were always special to me and as I thought of them after hearing the news all of my thoughts were of special times. Your mom was special! Shocked to hear of your 'special MOM' passing (she was younger than me!) However many youthful memories are flashing thru my mind---from the forties when we were neighbors on our parents' farms---in fact, with bikes in hand, and IF the wind was in the right direction for our voices to carry, we'd hollar 'can you come over?'Oh, what good times we had along with Gretchen and my brother, Jerry Minnihan...she always had a smile.....Rita Rhoades

Kim and Midny, We were very saddened to hear about Aunt Jane. She was one Special Lady. She will be missed by all. Sending our prayers and God Blessings to the both of you. To Kim and Mindy and family
I am sorry for your loss, but so happy for your mother that she is joined again with your dad in heaven. I always enjoyed visiting with your dad and mom over the years, and in the past years being able to stop at your mom's house and chat with her about everything. She was a wonderful person and I know you will miss her greatly, and through the coming days and weeks will revisit the fun things that you shared with her over the year. My thoughts are with you in the coming days as you celebrate her life. She was blessed with a great husband and wonderful daughters.
