Patricia Barbara Blakeslee, 79, died Monday, November 7, 2011, at Rolling Green Village Care Center in Nevada. She was born February 22, 1932, the daughter of Charles and Marie Beverly in Chicago, Illinois.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Mary (Brian) Thompson; grandson, Brian J. (Kelly) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, and Valerie Thompson; granddaughter, Jessica Barbara (Joshua) Devilbiss; great-grandson, Eric Castro; grandson, Cory Ryan Blakeslee; nieces, Nancy Crivellone and Mary (Ted Kekatos) Crivellone; sons, Robert Shawn (Bertha) Blakeslee and Michael Blakeslee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph Blakeslee; her parents, and her sister, Virginia Crivellone.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Her husband’s cremated remains will be interred with her at 2 p.m. Monday at Iowa Veterans Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.

My dear Aunt Pat,
My heart is broken since you have left this earth, I will miss you so very much. You knew how much I loved you and how much you meant to me.
You brought so much happiness to those who shared the world with you.
I am happy tho that you are now at peace and able to greet the new life that has been waiting for you. I am sure by now that you are already in the arms of Uncle Bob, Grandma Marie and of course your sister, my mom Ginnie. Please send them my love.
