Robert Duvall Sr.

Robert Leo Duvall, Sr., 74, of Kimberling City, Missouri died Friday, November 4, 2011. He was born the son of Leo W. Duvall and Gladys A. Duvall on September 27, 1937 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Robert had three children Robert L. Duvall, Jr., Kim (Duvall) Graeve and Theodore Duvall.

Robert (Bob) Duvall graduated from the January East High School class of 1956.

As a young man he enjoyed cars and especially racing them. As a family man he enjoyed taking his family boating, camping and also being a Scout Leader. When he married Yvonne they enjoyed dancing, golfing, fishing and when he retired traveling down south for the winter.

He started his career in Des Moines first working with the State Tax Commission in Computer Systems then Goodyear Tire and Rubber Regional Accounting Office Data Systems for five years. He retired from Chevrolet Motor Division General Motors Corporation after some 30 years at the age of 54.

Robert L. Duvall, Jr., passed away June 29, 2010.

Robert L. Duvall, Sr., is survived by his loving wife Yvonne. Elaine Duvall wife of Robert L. Duvall, Jr., granddaughters Lauren and Jacqui; and a great-grandson Riley, all of Walford, Iowa. Kim (Duvall) Graeve (Doug), grandchildren Amanda (Chad) Grooms and Joshua Graeve of Westminster, Colorado. Theodore A. Duvall and grandchildren Dylan and Danielle Duvall of Iowa. Barbara Duvall his sister of Des Moines, Iowa as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on November 19, 2011 at 1 p.m., at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, Iowa.
