Jeanne Ware

Jeanne M. Ware, 75 passed away November 4, 2011. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Jeanne was born to Sam & Louise Monroe on January 31, 1936 in Des Moines. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and married Charles Ware on October 8, 1954. To that union Cindy, Samuel, Thomas and Wayne were born. Jeanne owned and operated Electric Motors Corporation with her husband Charles for which is still owned and operated by the Ware family. Charles preceded her in death on August 29, 2005.

Survivors include her children, Cindy (Tim) Stanley, Sam Ware (Sue Murphy), Tom Ware (Becky Crawford) and Wayne (Rachelle) Ware, Sr.; Sister, Janet (Ted) Erickson; grandchildren, Tyler (Joanna) Stanley, Ryan (Cori) Stanley, Shelby (Travis) Onstot, Shane Ware, Amber Ware, Ashley Ware, Wayne Jr (Jill) Ware, Cassie Ware; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jaret, Hailey, Timothy, Tanner, Erin, RayLynn, Maxton, Tommy and Layla; nephews, Bill (Denise) Dorsett and Brian (Beth) Dorsett and many other loving family members.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed to Iowa Health Hospice.
