V. Jeanne (Demaree) Joss, born November 8, 1920 in Elgin, Iowa, passed away on November 2, 2011. No services are planned. Her body has been donated to the University of Iowa anatomy department.
Jeanne was the daughter of Chester and Laura Demaree. She married Glenn O. Joss June 2, 1951. Mrs. Joss became a graduate nurse at the University of Iowa in 1943 and worked in the Des Moines area for 20 years. She is survived by her nieces and nephews.

Jeanne, we will miss you. Spending time in your house as a child had an impact on me that lasts to this day. I will miss calling you on Nov 8th. I love you.

Sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing. She was a good friend and wonderful neighbor through the years. I will always remember the Chex at Christmas time and the rasberries she shared every year. After we moved I would stop by and get caught up on all the news. When I brought her an Easter basket she would always give me last years basket and we would laugh. Thank you for sharing Jeanne with us. Love

My aunt, Hilma Jones Wilcox, went to nursing school with Jeanne. Hilma does not have access to a computer but she asked me to express her sympathy to Jeanne's family.
