Service Details
Mitzi Lee Bresley, 48, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at her home. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Mitzi was born in Des Moines on June 19, 1963 to Beverly and Norman Schoondyke. She attended Lincoln High School and worked for various companies over the years but most recently for Bob Allen Productions as a production assistant. Mitzi was a devoted Christian and loved everyone unconditionally. She attended Lee Town Assembly of Good church and enjoyed collecting birdhouses and gardening.
She will be greatly missed by her husband and companion for 30 years, Tim Bresley; daughter, Michelle Bresley-Whitton; mother, Beverly Schoondyke; sisters, Rose (Brian) Schoondyke, Robin Schmarje, and Tami Tovrea; three granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carrie Ann Davis and her father, Norman.

To Mitizi and family,
Mitizi was a neighbor, coworker, & most of all a dear friend
i enjoyed working with Mitizi at bob allens and ddr.
Mitizi was a dedicated and very hard worker.
she will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy to my Aunt Beverly and cousins Rose and Robin. I am so very sad at the passing of Mitzi. She was probably the best of all of us in her faith in god. Mitzi was a beautiful person and will be remember with love.

I wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you during this sad time and that we loved Aunt Mitzi very much. I have such fond memories of her that we will hold dearly forever. RIP Aunt Mitzi, go dance with Jesus in the heavens above and watch over Tim and be his angel in the sky.
