Jean P. Clark, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Born in St. Paul, MN, Jean graduated from Olivet Nazarene University. Jean was a lifetime musician, she played and taught organ and piano for many years before retiring as district secretary for the Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of Eastside Church of the Nazarene and she attended Grace Point Church of the Nazarene here in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed Bible Study Fellowship, spending time with family and watching her grandchildren's many soccer games. She loved her family and cherished all her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Julie (Keith) Barnes of Fort Wayne, IN; son, Wes (Amy) Clark of Afton, IA; sister, Joan (Wayne) Gieselman of Marshalltown, IA; brother, Don (Sue) Gadbow of Brownwood, TX; sister-in-law, Rosa Andersen; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by parents, Clinton and Margaret Gadbow and her husband Charles Clark.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Eastside Church of the Nazarene, 1451 E. 25th St. followed by burial at Jordan Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Charles Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund care of Valley High School Dollars for Scholars.

Julie, Wes and families. So very saddened to read of your Mothers passing. We know she is rejoicing now with the Lord. We got to know both your parents quite well at the First Church of the Nazarene. Loved Jean's music and Charles as one of the best choir directors. He also sang at my daughter Linda's wedding back on 1980. May the Lord encourage you and lead you daily in service for Him. I will pray for you that you will be uplifted by knowing she is at peace and waiting until the day she can see you. God bless you

Dear Julie, Wes and family,
I was saddened to see the notice of your Mother in today's
Sunday paper. I have fond memories of both Jean and Charles.
I will never forget the time he brought you to our farm and
chased sheep! Of course I hold dear all of the music memories.
They both had strong impacts on many, many musicians professionally,
spiritually and personally. I will never forget your family.

Dear Family of Jean,
Memories of Jean have come "flooding" in upon hearing of her passing.
Her music will forever play within our hearts. She touched so many with her talents of music as well as her ability to teach and pray. So many wonderful creative Christmas programs were prepared and presented thru the years.
May the quiet places of your hearts be filled with sweet echoes of love and wonderful memories.
