Service Details
Subsequent to a long, active life, Frances Davis drew her last breath and passed from this earthly existence Wednesday, October 19, 2011. She was a feisty woman who overcame the ravages of polio and embraced life with vigor. Frances was owner and operator of Hamilton’s Executive Lounge. She was the “boss”, the glue, and the problem solver who kept the family together with pride for an Italian heritage.
She will be missed by her sister, Anna Marie Debolt; daughter, Marshelle Fatino; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jackie Davis.
A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2011 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Frances was a great inspiration to many folks including myself. She just seemed to find the best in situations, laugh a hearty laugh and get on with it!! Love, hugs and prayers.

I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to the entire family. What can I say? Frances always treated me like a son and I loved her for that. She always made me feel at home and I never left her house hungry. I was very fortunate to have known her and work for her at Hamiltons for so many years. She will be sorely missed and will always be in my heart.
