Claribel Quick

Claribel Quick, 87, passed away Friday, April 27th, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 1pm Monday, April 30 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home on Lyon St. with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
Claribel was born August 22, 1919 in Churdan, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Lizzie (Talbert) Kinney. She has lived in Des Moines for the past 52 years.
Claribel is survived by two sons, Clifford (Carmela) Quick of Medford, MA and Richard (Pauline) Quick of Altoona, IA; two daughters, Vera (Asa) Richardson of Siloam Springs, AR and Patricia Allen of Des Moines; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and three sisters, Juanita Deppe of Kellogg, IA, Grace Dickey of Newton, IA and Florence Baker of St. Paul, MN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; her parents; four sisters and three brothers.
The family will greet friends from 6-8pm Sunday, April 29 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
