Sherry Weiland

Sherry Lee Weiland, 67, died Friday October 14, 2011 at Polk City Nursing and Rehab. She was born January 9, 1944 to Ted Wilcox and Betty Houge in Des Moines.

Sherry worked with mentally challenged adults through Link Associates and had a love of animals.

Sherry is survived by her siblings, Thomas (Marce) Houge and Nissa (Michael) O’Brien; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and beloved friends. She was also a grandmother and great-grandmother. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Herbert Weiland.
