Robert Hamilton

Robert T. Hamilton, 80, died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston from cancer. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway. Family will greet friends from 10-11 a.m.
Robert is survived by his wife, Dana Hamilton of Clive; children, Scott Hamilton of Des Moines, Heidi Hamilton of Las Vegas, and Patrick Hamilton of Des Moines; grandchildren, Michael Hamilton, Sarah (Aaron) Witt, and Katie Hamilton; great-grandchild, Hannah Witt; siblings, Irma (Bill) Wolfe of Sumter, SC, Arlene (Bernie) Gillis of FL, Virgil (Carrie) Hamilton of Rogers, AK, and Alvin (June) Hamilton of Grundy Center; sister-in-law, Jeanne Hamilton of Akron, OH.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Hamilton; and brother, Glen Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Mercy Hospice of Johnston or the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, 505 5th Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50309.
