Russell Hainline

Russell A. Hainline, 77, died Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Mitchell Village in Mitchellville, Iowa. He was born April 1, 1934, in Polk City, Iowa, to Allen and Maymie (Wallace) Hainline.

He was a member of Eastside Church of the Nazarene. Russell served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge.

Russell is survived by his loving wife, Wonda J. Hainline; children, Cindy (Gary) Van Sickle, Colette (Jon) Kurth, Bryan (Renee) Hainline, and Patrice (David) Mills; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Donna Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at Eastside Church of the Nazarene, 1451 East 25th Street, Des Moines, with burial to follow at Franklin Cemetery in Santiago, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, October 17 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW.
