Albert Blades

Albert E. Blades, 95, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Riverview Care Center in Des Moines. He was born January 22, 1916 in Des Moines, the son of William and Mary Ann (Conway) Blades.

Albert was dearly loved and had many friends in his life. He truly enjoyed his job and never missed a day unless it was for a doctor’s appointment. Albert was a huge Hawkeye enthusiast and fan of old western TV shows and movies. Smiles will be on the faces of many when thinking of Albert eating his bologna sandwiches, a can of peaches, and an ice cold Miller Lite to drink for lunch.
