Lucinda “Cindy” Louise Vosbeek went home to be with her Lord Thursday, October 6, 2011. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Indianola Heights Evangelical Free Church, 3000 SE 9th Street in Des Moines.
Cindy was born in Des Moines, on October 12, 1945. She was a graduate of East High School and a beautician most of her adult life. She was very active in her church, and her love of children was reflected in her ministries. She was also an avid Southern Gospel music fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helen Vosbeek. She will be greatly missed by her cousins and a host of friends.

Your cousin Jill and Jack Stevens have been trying to find you and my Shannon found this in her search. Cindy you were loved by us and we miss you. I know this is a long time coming but hope you know you have been on both of our minds. Our Mom your Aunt Betty and you are catching up on old times with your mom. Cindy was a very loving lady and truely loved her Heavenly Father. She is safe in the arms of Jesus now and I know she is happy. Probably singing with the other angels and taking care of the little ones.
