Candis Jo Ditmore

Candis Jo Ditmore, 53, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011, at her home. She was born on June 26, 1958, to Bob and Carol Lasnek in McHenry, Illinois.

She is survived by her sons, Ryan (Lindsey) Ballard, Cameron (Quincy) Vest and Clay (Kandi) Vest; her father, Bob (Kathy) Lasnek; her siblings, Sheila (Greg) Moore, Bobby Lasnek, Donna (Andy) Enos, Mark (Josie) Lasnek, David Lasnek, Camelle Lasnek and Chrissy (Matt) Barrette; her grandchildren, Alayna,Aislynn, Connor, Camden, Kallee and Shyann; her numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Lasnek.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2011, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011, at the funeral home. Candis would like you to be comfortable and to come as you are.

Candis loved Harleys, angels, country music, the Oklahoma Sooners, cleaning, talking, decorating and most of all her family- especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her generous heart and her ability to laugh at almost everything. She was a strong woman and also a jokester. Most of all she lived life to its fullest and put all others before herself. She will be missed.
