Bing Luong Van

Bing Luong Van, 83, died Sunday, October 2, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family. Bing was born July 24, 1928, in Vietnam and moved to the United States in January 1980.

Bing is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ya Luong; children, Om (Khamsavanh) Luong, Nhung Lo, Nheune (Thomas) Baccam, Pheng Luong, Pe (Phanpet) Luong, Chip (Bo) Van Luong, Chiem (Mai) Van Luong, Thieo (Khonesavanh) Keoouthai, and Thouan (Larry Taylor) Luong; twenty grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Dueng Luong of France; and a host of other family and beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, one son, two grandchildren, one sister, and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held 5 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with cremation to follow the service. Burial will occur at the Tai Dam Section of Glendale Cemetery on Thursday.
